Mary Jane opens with a bang at Winter Park Resort!

Untracked powder was on the bill of fare for the faithful at The Jane this chilly December morning. Having received well over two feet of snow in recent days, The Mary Jane was in fine shape to welcome back her longtime lovers. Favorite runs like Drunken Frenchman, Golden Spike, Sterling Way were loaded with light fluffy and untouched powder and skiers and riders raced from one trail opening to the next as the ski patrol opened and closed runs for “directed” skiing. In particular the opening of Bradley’s Bash on the Winter Park side was truly a powder hound’s favorite on this spectacular day. Only to be topped by perfect dirty cajun martinis, tamarind coconut clam soup and fireworks at Shipwreck Landing North in Old Town Winter Park.
