General Comments/Likes
I prefer “old school” ski hills and A-Basin fits the profile.
“Rage’n at the Basin”, with it’s rolling groomed runs makes this a carving dream. Add Pallavicini and the East Wall to the mix and you have a ski hill only rivialed by Alta, Utah.
This is where Colorado’s hardcore skiers and riders play. It doesn’t end there. This is a great place for kids, beginners and intermediates alike.
High altitude makes A-Basin a spring skiing mecca. It’s long spring season and blue bird days are unlike anything else I’ve experienced.
