General Comments/Likes

Crested Butte is one of my favorite towns that just happens to have a kick-ass ski area. The Butte is know for its rocky, steep slopes home of the original extreme skiing competition. Note that the trail map jumps from blues to double diamonds with few black runs in between. You can’t go wrong skiing off the North Face T-Bar and the High Lift.
Make sure to visit the Secret Stash in town and try the award winning Notorious F.I.G. pizza.
Stay in a quaint, victorian house in town and take the convenient shuttle to the mountain village. Town is where the action is.

Dislikes

Lines at the T-Bar can be horrendous and you better know how to ride one because the crowd is brutal.
Wish they would bring back the free skiing weeks in the early and late season.
