General Comments/Likes

Four Pines is a fun backcounrty/sidecountry spot outside the gates at Jackson Hole. Be Avalanche/backcountry ready for this spot… Gear, knowledge, partners.
It is double boot pack or a sidestep and bootpack away from Rocksprings Canyon.Great views of surrounding backcountry from this hike. Nice starting that allow skiing in most direction n,s,e. I usually enjoy a lap off the nose. Snow and terrain are some of the best. Tree skiing, chutes, cliffs, Four pines has almost everything you want. Fun run out and easy traverse out to the resort through the bottom of Rock Springs. One of my favorites.
