General Comments/Likes

This Michigan legend is real and worth the trip. Long drive for a weekend, but if you like bumps, trees, cliffs, and a groom-free experience Mount bohemia may be what you’re seeking.

Lots of raw and dirty terrain.

Get some street cred for hitting the JH of the midwest, with 900 feet vertical and lift accessed back country. Night life supplemented by Michigan Tech University in Houghton. Great bars and Micro-brews.

Dislikes

Staff friendly, but over worked at times during a busy weekends. Not for snow bunnies or lodge cougars. Nearest town of note, Houghton an hour away.
