Skied here one day on a Spartan Ski Club trip back in the day. We had skied Heavenly the 4 days prior and were looking for a bit of change. It was a nice drive to North Star from South Lake Tahoe with great views of the lake. The groomer skiing here is pretty good nothing too technical. Did a lot of laps off the Vista Express Lift that day.
Dislikes
Pretty flat and homogenous terrain especially after skiing fresh snow at Heavenly for the previous 4 days. Unfortunatly it lives up to its name given by locals as “Flatstar”.
