The night skiing here is really fun. Shawnee is also a great place to learn how to ski or ride.
Dislikes
Glades and bumps here are very limited mid winter, this is exceptional for the beginners and intermediates who favor the area, but some more bumps on the sides of wide trails would be much appreciated. Also signage here was in my experience AWFUL, very few runs have any signs or markings at all. Make sure that if it’s your first time here, and you are nervous about your abilities to ski and ride certain trails, that you carry a trail map.
