General Comments/Likes
Smuggler’s Notch is a trek but it’s always been worth it. Madonna Mountain has some great terrain and they’re blessed with great snow. Fantastic family resort with a great program for kids. And for the back country enthusiast there is some awesome skiing between Madonna and Stowe’s Spruce Peak down to the Smuggler’s Notch highway (closed in winter and great for skiing back to the base at Smuggler’s). Great maple sugar shacks in the springtime.

No matter where you’re coming from it’s a long drive, and it can be a cold mountain.
