General Comments/Likes
Located right in the middle of the town of Jackson’s, Wyoming, Snow King is a steep little ski hill with outstanding snowmaking, good slope grooming and bullet-poof snow.
Skiing and riding here will improve your skills. It’s all a matter of survival. Steeps that force you to turn, great tree skiing and riding, perfect for race training and competitive events.
The begininng and intermediate terrain is great and uncrowded. Uncrowded is the key here. You don’t need to worry so much about some “expert” screaming past you and cutting you off.
I love the base lodge, with a real fireplace and the old school charm that harkins back to the way ski hills once were…
Dislikes
The grooming here can be inconsistant, mainly due to the hills low altitude location and NOT the skill of the groomers themselves.
