Snowbird is definitely Alta’s bigger brother, only with boarders. Great spot for early and late season skiing. great tram with fun runs like Regulator Johnson. Love skiing this whole mountain, one of Utah’s finest. Love Great Scott and the cirque off the cirque traverse, also found the gad chutes to be alot of fun. Mach Shnell is a blast. Gad Valley holds good snow for a while is a short traverse over to. Oh ya, take the tunnel thru the mountain into mineral basin. Its pretty cool and euro. I always grab a beer at the Bird feeder in the base near the tram.

Dislikes

Can get tracked out quickly. Stairs to tram base are a bummer. Parking can get tough.
UPDATE: just skied at Snowbird on 2-28-10.
Snow was low, but not a big deal. skied with a big group and the signs were difficult to find and use. Not much direction given to lifts.
