Within my first three runs at Squaw, it became apparent why so many “big Mountain” skiers and riders call this hill “home”.
Squaw Valley has everything in terms of terrain. What I immediatly fell in love with were the large, gullies and massive trees. These natural half-pipes provide a ride unlike any other ski hill I’ve been to.
Combine this with great intermediate terrain and the mid-mountain outdoor swimming pool, Squaw Valley is unlike any other.
FREE parking in the main lot, always a huge plus!!! I can’t wait to return in 2011.

The base village looks just like that of Keystone, Copper Mountain…, lacking any unique character, however it’s small enough that the walk through is relatively short.
