I LOVE the Canyons Resort! I had never heard much about this place and it is totally dwarfed in hype compared to Deer Valley and Park City. Too bad… This resort exceeded my expectations and then some. Fantastic grooming, excellent tree runs, lots of variety, good lifts, fun restaurants and bars.

Parking is really far from the lifts, and once you get off the cabriolet it is still really far to the Gondola, which is pretty much the only way out of the base (you have to cross a huge canyon to get to the bulk of the skiing). It can get pretty crowded on the weekends.
