General Comments/Likes

Wolf Creek, UT has zero lift lines. We arrived at 1:00 on a powder day and still got freshies on the run under the main lift! We parked about 5 steps from the run-out to the lift. It is very easy to get to from Ogden and super low-key. Lift tickets were incredibly reasonable – only $23 for a 1/2 day, which goes from 1:00 pm to I think 7:00 or 9:00 pm… Overall, this is a good ski area for beginners (there were lots, and they seemed to be having a great time), families on a budget, or in my case, people who want to ski today but only have a couple of hours.

Slow lifts. Not enough steeper terrain. Would not call this a “resort”. It is a local ski hill. This area takes up a fraction of the mountain it is set on – too bad they don’t expand up higher…
